Q: I purchased something from your store and it wasn't the correct item, can I return it?
A: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase on unused/unopened items. All returns must be accompanied by a receipt/proof of purchase. We will refund the amount back to your original payment method which must match the receipt. If original payment method is unavailable then store credit will be issued.

Q: I purchased something online and want to return it, how do I do that?
A: All returns for online orders must be pre-approved. Please call us 800-939-8783 or email info@scottcreekpottery.net to discuss the order and any issues so we can choose the proper method of handling the return. The customer is liable for all shipping costs to and from SCP unless otherwise noted.

Q: How long will it take for my refund to arrive?
A: Returns/refunds requests are processed as soon as possible and funds should be transferred back to your card within 5 business days from receipt of returned item.

Q: I'd like to cancel an order I just placed over the phone/online, how can I do that and ensure I'm not being charged?
A: Give us a call at 800-939-8783 or send an email to info@scottcreekpottery.net with your order information and we can help you out. If your order has already shipped then you will need to wait for the item to be delivered for us to assist you with a return.

Q: Are discounts or store credits refundable?
A: No. We do not offer any refunds for promotional discounts or store credits.

Q: My clay gun is jammed, the plunger is stuck all the way down
A: This is a common issue with the clay guns as it can be easy to keep pumping until the release tab at the back of the gun gets stuck and cannot be depressed with your hand strength alone. The solution is to give the release tab a little tap with a hammer to release that pressure. A good tip is to make a mark on the plunger shaft so you know where the "dead bottom" of your barrel lies so you don't overshoot it and jam the gun.

Q: My extruder didn't push out all of the clay, is it broken?
A: It's definitely not broken. There will always be a little residual clay left at the bottom of the barrel for both handheld and wall mount models of extruders. It just can't all get pushed out so cleaning is necessary after each extruding session or in between differing clay bodies.
